Social Organisation Registration in India

A social organization is a form of entity which is professed by its members. It is a group of individuals that unite for a collective goal and is linked to an external environment. These are basically Non- Government Organizations which may be in the form of following ways:

  1. Society under the Society Registration Act, 1860;
  2. Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882;
  3. Non – Profit making company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 (Also known as Section 8 Company)
